Who Is Daltoosh

Dalton “Daltoosh” Hester is an Apex Legends Twitch streamer signed to Team Solo Mid (TSM-FTX) as a content creator. The 26-year-old streamer is popular in the Apex Legends community due to his exciting and fun watch parties.

According to his Twitch Bio, he went to Florida State University. However, he dropped out to pursue a full-time streaming career.

He was previously signed to SoaR Gaming and Lifestyle brand before getting picked up by TSM.

Daltoosh also plays other titles such as Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodhunt and Halo. He calls his community the Tooshbags.

Daltoosh Apex Legends Settings

Daltoosh is a controller player and if you would check out his clips, he is cracked at it. His movement, especially with his main – Pathfinder, feels like a mouse-and-keyboard player.

Check out his settings below and set it as a benchmark if you want to push through with Apex Legends using a controller.

Daltoosh Controller Settings

Daltoosh is using a Scuf Gaming PlayStation 4 Dual Shock controller with an extended right stick and a single paddle.

Some quick notes on Daltoosh’s settings. The Vibration is on but the rumbles were removed by Scuf gaming so there is no vibration at all.

For the look deadzone, Toosh plays with either small or none at all. His look sensitivity sometimes goes up to Super High (6).

Daltoosh does not use Advanced Look Controls (ALC) which is a tool used to fine-tune controller movement and aiming in Apex Legends. You may adjust your turning speeds, deadzones, response curve, and pre-optic settings through ALC.

Check out our Genburten Apex Legends settings if you are looking for a professional with tuned ALC settings.

Daltoosh is a content creator thus he prioritizes a quality stream over his Apex Legends FPS. His settings are maxed out so when viewers watch, they can see the quality graphic instead of blocks or plain shapes.

Moreover, Daltoosh has an insane PC that can handle maximum graphics and stream at the same time.

Daltoosh is three generations behind when it comes to his processor while his graphics card is a generation behind. But despite that, his gaming PC is very capable of putting out high frame rates at max settings.

The Intel Core i9-9900k is a very powerful processor that can still match modern CPUs today. His graphics card, the Nvidia RTX 2080, is the best in its class years ago. It is outdated now, but it still packs a punch.

Should You Use Daltoosh’s Apex Legends Settings?

Not necessarily. His settings are great as benchmarks when starting you are just starting to find your own. But as you progress through the game, you will find yourself tweaking and adjusting based on your preferences.

His video game settings are difficult to match if you are using an entry-level gaming computer too. Apex Legends is a fairly demanding game and you need to adjust your graphics settings accordingly based on your computer’s specs.

Daltoosh Controversy

Last year, Daltoosh made a racist joke on Twitch while watching a viral golfing video. The golfer has a prominent tan line and he cracked a joke where the lighter part of the skin is “401K” while the tanned area is “Nae Nae”.

The joke did not sit well with a lot of fans and called out his racism. The black Apex Legends community also voiced their disdain and slammed the joke as casual racism.

Daltoosh has posted his apology through a Twitlonger and mentioned that he is accountable for his actions. He also added that those who defended him should think back and re-evaluate why they defended casual racism.

Moreover, Daltoosh is unable to attend official EA events due to unknown reasons. There are speculations that this is because of his racist behavior but this rumor has no evidence to back it up.

Calls for Daltoosh to cast the game officially were still present mainly due to the entertainment value he brings.

He still casts the Apex Legends Global Series on his own watch party – which some consider the best or even better than the official broadcast.

Wrapping Up

Daltoosh is an insane Apex Legends player and it is understandable why you would want to emulate his settings. Feel free to copy his settings and frag out in Apex Legends.
