Faide Apex Legends Video Settings
Here we have a break down of Faides video settings while playing Apex Legends. These settings will depend on your PC set up however most people should be able to use Faides settings. Like most pros he plays on low graphic settings to maximise frame rate.
Display Mode | Full Screen | Full screen maximizes frame rates |
Aspect Ratio | 16:10 | |
Resolution | 1680×1050 (native)
Field Of View (FOV) | 120 | Faide uses max FOV because it gives more visibility. |
FOV Ability Scaling | Disabled | This disables the added FOV whenever Bloodhound or Octane uses their abilities. |
Sprint View Shake | Minimal | This will keep your screen steady while running. |
V-Sync | Disabled | ImperialHal mentioned that V-Sync is horrible. Do not turn that on. |
NVidia Reflex | Disabled
Adaptive Resolution FPS Target | 0
Anti-aliasing | None | |
Texture Streaming Budget | Very Low (2GB VRAM) | He sets it to very low because of the skins. Turning this one off would make your skins look garbage. |
Texture Filtering | Bilinear
Ambient Occlusion Quality | Disabled |
Even though Faide has a monster PC setup, he still uses lower graphics settings to maximise frame rate. While casual players want their game to look good, pros want max performance. Having a higher frame rate gives you an edge against the competition when it comes to reaction times.
