How To Delete Clips On Twitch

There may come a time when you want to delete clips on your Twitch channel. If you have found this article that time is probably now. In the this article we are going to break down how you can delete your own Twitch clips as well as clips your followers have clipped on your channel. You may only want to keep a collection of your best clips for new potential followers to check out. That might mean deleting some of the poor quality clips on your channel.

To do this follow the steps below.

Go to Twitch.tv
Click on your Profile Image –> Creator Dashboard
In your Creator Dashboard click on Content –> Clips

Click on the “Clips I have created” section and select the clip you want to delete then click on the delete icon above it.

A box will appear asking you to confirm if you want to delete. Select Delete and your Twitch clip will be deleted.

Your Twitch clip will now be deleted and potentially an embarrassing Live stream fail is gone before it makes it’s way to live stream fails.

How To Delete Clips Your Followers Create

Your followers also have the ability to to create clips on your channel. You can view these in your account as well. Below is how you can delete these clips.

Go to Twitch.tv
Go to your account by clicking on your profile picture –> Creator Dashboard
In your creator dashboard click on content –> clips.
In the “Clips of my channel” section you will see clips that you and anyone else has taken on your channel.

Select the clip you want to delete and click on Delete Selected
You will then see a box asking you to confirm that you want to delete the clip

How To Delete All Of Your Clips At Once

If for some reason you have decided to delete all clips on your channel at once you can easily do this. Just follow the steps below:

Go to Twitch.tv
Go to your account by clicking on your profile picture –> Creator Dashboard
In your creator dashboard click on content –> clips.
In the “Clips of my channel” section you will see all of the clips of your channel
Click the box above all the clips to highlight all clips and then click on delete selected

You will then be asked to confirm you want to delete all clips (You will not be able to get them back). Click Delete.

All of your clips will now be deleted.

How To Disable Clips On Your Twitch Channel

If you do not want people to be able to create clips on your channel you need to disable clip creation.

To do that follow the steps below:

Go to Twitch.tv
Click on your profile image and go to Creator Dashboard
Go to Settings –> Stream –> Clip Settings

Make sure that enable clips is slide to off

Users will not be able to create clips on your channel anymore.

You do also have the ability to only allow followers or subscribers make clips on your channel. When you have Enable Clips turned on you can select to enable followers only or subscriber only.

This is good if you want to stop someone spamming clips in your channel.
