Obviously we all want easier lobbies when playing Call of Duty. Back before the days of Skill based match making you would regularly get thrown in lobbies full of bots and could absolutely pop off. This seems like a thing of the past with SBMM, so how can you get into easier lobbies in Call of Duty Vanguard? Well there is actually a few successful methods to find easier lobbies in Vanguard.
Let’s jump in and take a look.
Method 1 – Reverse Boosting
Reverse boosting is a method that lots of players and content creators use to get into easier lobbies. They may not like to admit it but more people than you may think are doing. There is two ways to do this:
- Go into lobbies on your main account and die a ton of times. This will bring down your “skill level” and eventually you will get placed in lobbies with less skilled players. However this will obviously severely impact your stats in game. If you don’t care about them then, no worries you can just go into a game and die a lot. If you do care about your stats check out the next method of reverse boosting.
- If you have a second console you are able to reverse boost on a second account. This account would have a very low KD and would search for a game. You can then join session from that account on your main account. This will get you into a game with really low ranked “bot players”. This is the method that lots of content creators use to get high kill gameplay.
Method 2 – Play With Bad Players
If you have a friend that has a bad KD and is typically a bad player you can have them host the match when you are searching for a game. This works and will put you into a game with players on your friends skill level.
You should choose the player in your party with the worst KD and have them search. Enjoy playing with worse players.
Method 3 – Set Your Quick Play Settings To Default
In Call of Duty Vanguard there is a quick play option. If you leave your quick play settings on the default you will be more likely to come across new/bad players.
When someone first starts playing the game they are likely to jump straight into quick play without adjusting anything. If you do the same you will be more likely to come across a pool of bad players.
Good players tend to select the game modes and pace that they want to play at in their settings so you will have a lower chance of coming across them in game.
Method 4 – Using A VPN To Go To A Different Country
If you are playing on PC you are able to use a VPN to trick your computer into thinking you are in a different country. If you change your location on your VPN to something like Egypt where there is a smaller population of players on the game you are more likely to come up against bad players as well as players with a bad connection.
