Overwatch 2 has finally arrived after a long wait. While the launch was littered with bugs and server issues people are finally getting in and enjoying the game.

One of the other issues people have with the launch of Overwatch 2 is the price of skins and how long it takes to unlock skins for free in the game. An individual skin in the game can cost around $20. That’s pretty expensive. You can earn Overwatch coins by playing the game but it takes a very long time to get enough coins to purchase a skin.

Luckily there is a way to get some of the new skins for free. Twitch & Overwatch will be hosting events where you can pick up free skins via Twitch Drops. Let’s take a look at the skins you can get and how to get the twitch drops.

Overwatch 2 – Twitch Drops Explained

Kiriko Overwatch 2 Twitch Drop

During the Twitch drops, players will be able to claim a free Kiriko Legendary skin. Kiriko is one of the new heroes available in Overwatch 2. All players have to do is watch Twitch to claim the skin.

There is a couple of steps you need to take to ensure you can claim the drops.

  1. Login to battle.net via your web browser
  2. Navigate to Accounts Settings –> Connections
  3. Connect your Twitch account to your battle.net account by logging in to Twitch

Your accounts will now be linked meaning you will receive the drops in your Overwatch account.
