New World has finally dropped after a long wait. If you have purchased the game and jumped in only to find out that your getting pretty poor performance that can be pretty disheartening.
However do not worry, in this article I am going to cover the best settings to play new world with a high FPS even if you’re on a lower end PC.
Let’s jump in and get started.
Step 1 – Preferences –> Analytics Reporting
If you are experiencing latency in your game this one little change may help you out. Open up your settings menu, navigate to Preferences –> Enable Analytics Reporting and make sure to select OFF.

Step 2 – Visuals
Visuals is the main category we want to look at to improve our FPS in New World. Below I have outlined a table with all the best settings for a High FPS. If you set your settings to the below and are still experiencing issues check out the information below the table.

Once you set up these settings you should see a significant increase in FPS when playing the game. If you are still experiencing FPA issues you can turn all medium settings down to low to get a greater performance boost however the game will start to look worse.
Also if you’re using a 1440p monitor and your resolution is 1440p I would recommend turning your resolution down to 1080p. This will give you huge performance boost. Even though the game won’t look just as good it will play better.
If you have changed all these settings but are still experiencing issues with your performance it may be that your computer just isn’t powerful enough. You can take a look at the minimum system requirements down below.
