2027’s Call of Duty Leaks

According to the latest leak reports, Sledgehammer Games, an Amercian Video Gamer Developer company, will spearhead 2027’s Call of Duty project from the front. Some of the award-winning Call of Duty (COD) titles by Sledgehammer Games include Advanced Warfare, WW2, Vanguard, and Modern Warfare 3. While COD is still a work-in-progress, they dropped some leaks on the bold developments of 2027’s Call of Duty. The leaks claim that this new game will be an Advanced Warfare title and not sequel-based like 2022’s Modern Warfare 2 and Modern Warfare 3.
TheGhostofHope, a Call of Duty Player/Leaker, took to Twitter and wrote: “What I am hearing about Sledgehammer Games future with Call of Duty: Sledgehammer Games are currently slated to lead their own Call of Duty in 2027. This comes after Infinity Ward’s game in 2026 which is presumably MW4. COD2027 is currently NOT a Year 2 Modern Warfare game like MWIII. Unclear as of yet if it’s possibly Advanced Warfare 2 or something new. Will update whenever that becomes clear.” (Credits: Twitter)
Earlier, there were some intriguing leaks on Call of Duty 2025 going rounds online. One such leak was that the gamers will see the return of Black Ops. The COD leakers and game testers unveiled that the game will be an aftermath of Black Ops 2 title.
Fumo Leaks, one of the gaming leakers, took to Twitter saying, “The campaign is a black ops story set in 2035! The protagonist this time is David Mason (Black Ops 2). The game is more of an espionage theme with a key point being informational warfare.” (Credits: Twitter)
Some of the Call of Duty 2025 gaming modes include Campaign Mode, Multiplayer, and Zombies. The coming installment is set to begin where it left, followed by the Black Ops 6 release.
Activision Sets New Records

As far as the 2027’s Call of Duty title goes, Microsoft explicitly decided not to modify or alter the UI and the Prestige System. The so-called rumored unofficial committee will soon take individual charge to work on developments of the game followed by strategy building for the franchise’s future. After overseeing Call of Duty Franchise’s operations successfully for 20 years, the sudden shift from studio-based setup to committee approach would mark a notable transformation in the creation of 2027’s Call of Duty.
COD’s Black Ops 6 has taken the gaming industry by a storm, garnering new records for the franchise, reports Activision. The American Video Game Publisher made Black Ops 6 available on multiple devices like Game Pass, consoles, and PC followed by a 30-day launch period. Having Call of Duty Black Ops 6 launched on various devices resulted in a substantial boost for both franchise and Activision. The publisher gave the opportunity for Black Ops 6 best players to play head-to-head by using a similar setup.
However, there’s always a twist in the tale, as leakers surmise that the Modern Warfare and Black Ops titles will come to a half for a while, creating a way for a grand return for Advanced Warfare version.
