The WidePeePoSad emote is a variant of the PepeSad emote which is based on the popular Pepe the Frog emote created by Matt Furie.

WidePeePo sad is used to display an insurmountable of sadness. It is a more extreme version of the Sadge emote which you’re probably already familiar with. It is used to display sadness on Twitch.

How to Use the WidePeePo Emote

Although LUL is an emote native to Twitch, OMEGALUL is not. Thus, to use OMEGALUL, you’ll have to have either Better Twitch TV or FrankerFaceZ installed. Both are browser extensions that allow you to see and use user uploaded emotes. The streamer you are watching will also need to have BTTV or FrankerFaceZ, and they need to have enabled OMEGALUL on their channel. To use OMEGALUL, here’s how:

  1. Go to BTTV or FrankerfaceZ’s website and download the correct extension for your specific browser. Install, activate, and refresh your browser and you should be able to start laughing away with OMEGALUL.
  2. Fiddle with any additional features or settings by clicking the gear icon under the chat box of any streamer’s chat.

What is the Origin of WidePeePoSad?

While WidePeePoSad is fairly new on Twitch Pepe the frog is not. Pepe the Frog made his debut in 2005 when Matt Furie uploaded his webcomic onto his MySpace page. In 2008, 4Chan picked up on Pepe the Frog and began using him as a meme. It wasn’t until 2015 that Pepe’s popularity spilled past 4Chan and he became a global meme phenomenon.

In 2017 the Pepe the frog emote had started becoming extremely popular on Twitch with lots of variants popping up. One of them was PeePo happy which was first uploaded to Frankerface on January 18th 2018. Just a few days later PeePo Sad was then uploaded to the platform.

Almost a year later WidePeePoSad was also added. It is now added on over 78,000 channels on FrankerfaceZ and is becoming more and more popular on Twitch.

You can use the WidePeePoSad emote on Twitch when you want to display that you are extremely sad.
