- Click on the settings button in the top right-hand corner of the Game Capture software
- Under the capture tab, you will see the Library location. This is where your recordings will be saved.
- To find them in file explorer copy the URL and paste it in the top bar of file explorer.
This will take you to the location of your saved recordings.
How To Change Where Videos Are Saved Elgato Game Capture
If you want to change where your Elgato Game Capture recordings are saved, follow the steps below:
- Open Elgato Game Capture
- Click on the settings COG in the top right-hand corner
- Under the capture tab navigate to Library Location and click on the change button
- Select the folder where you want the recordings saved and click on the Select Folder button.
You have now changed the location of where your recordings will save. All future recordings will go to this location.
Where Are Elgato 4k Capture Software Recordings Saved
Elgato 4k Capture Software is the latest capture software from Elgato which is used with their newer 4k compatible devices. Follow the steps below to find your recordings.
- Open the 4k capture software on your computer
- Click on the settings button in the top right-hand corner
- Navigate to the Recording tab
- Here you will see “Library Location”. This is where your videos are located. Screenshot location is where any screenshots you take are located. If you want to find that folder in your file explorer, simply copy the URL and open file explorer.
- Paste the URL into your file explorer bar highlighted below and hit enter.
You will now see all of your recordings. You can then drag them into an editing software or upload them to a social media platform of your choice.
