Cronus Zen
The Cronus Zen is a very popular device used for getting aimbot on consoles. Not only does it allow you to modify your controller macros, but it also allows you to use a mouse and keyboard on your console.
You can also add mods for specific games that you are interested in playing. Popular mods have the ability to reduce recoil and reload speeds. While there are other mods that allow you to quick scope when using a sniper and even hold your breath.
The Cronus Zen comes with a small screen that gives you prompts and information. You can also use it to change different settings of the device. There are two USB ports on the front side of the device which are used to connect a mouse and keyboard. There is also a button that allows you to change game packs and a Bluetooth pairing button.
Setting Up The Cronus Zen
In order to set up the device, you are going to need a computer. Both PC and Mac are going to do the trick just fine. Use the longer cable provided inside the box to connect the device to your PC. Use the shorter one to connect the device to your PlayStation console. You should plug the longer cable into the left side of the device and the shorter one into the top.
Once you have everything plugged in, you need to down the Zen Studio software from the Cronus website and the universal updater from the collective minds website. Launch the universal updater software and update it if needed. Connect the Cronus Zen to your computer and while you do that, press and hold the blue button on the back of the device.
- Run the universal updater software and make sure that it is up to date.
- Connect the Cronus Zen to your PC using the provided USB cable. While you are doing that hold down the blue button on the back of the Cronus Zen. You can leave the button once the software recognizes the device. If there is a firmware update then you should update it. It only takes a few seconds.
- Now you can launch the Cronus Zen software. In the Programmer tab, you can find game packs that are made by Collective Minds.
- In the library tab, you can find scripts for different games that have been made by the community. You can select the packs that you need for the games that you play.
- Do note that from time to time, you will need to update these packs. Once done you can press the play button on the left side in order to save everything.
- Once that is done, you can plug the Cronus Zen into Playstation. You can plug your controller into the Cronus Zen.

XIM Apex
The XIM Apex is a much smaller and simpler device to use but it does not offer the extensive features of the Cronus Zen. It is the size of a USB pen drive and allows you to control the inputs of your PlayStation console.
Using a USB hub, you can use the XIM Apex to connect a keyboard and mouse to your console as well. It does not have a screen but it is easier to use.
Setting Up XIM Apex
You can set up the device by connecting it to your computer and then downloading the download manager or downloading it on your phone and connecting the device to your phone via Bluetooth.
The software allows you to pick profiles for different games that you might be interested in. Select the ones that you are going to play and click on the settings icons to get the recommended settings for the particular game.
Once you have the settings sorted, you can plug the device into your console and then plug in your controller into the XIM Apex. If you have paired the device with your phone then changing the profiles is going to be much easier. Otherwise, you will have to connect it to a computer in order to make changes.
What Is The Difference Between Aimbot And Aim Assist?
If you are playing a shooting game on a console then you might have noticed the aim assist option. This is a setting that allows you to take better shots and increase your accuracy. This is an optional setting that you can tweak and even turn off.
Aimbot on the other hand is not a setting in the game and is a hack or cheat that is used to gain the upper hand when playing online multiplayer shooting games such as Warzone. Aimbots can lock onto enemies making sure that you never miss.
Aimbot can provide other benefits too. They can allow you to run all the time as well as bunny hop whenever you like. These cheats can also allow players to reduce the recoil of their weapons, reload faster, and even fire quicker.
With all this in mind, you can see how players with aimbots have an unfair advantage over regular players. This is why we do not recommend using aimbots and playing games they are meant to be played.
