So, Fifa 23 has just dropped and many users are reporting that Fifa 23 is getting stuck on the loading screen on PC. This obviously isn’t what you want after dropping almost $100 on the game.
Luckily there is a workaround fix you can use allowing you to get into the game and start playing right away.
How To Fix Fifa 23 Stuck On Load Screen
There are a few possible causes of the game getting stuck. One is likely the new EA Anti-cheat software and the other is potentially overloaded servers during the game’s launch. Unfortunately, EA hasn’t added any queuing system so it’s hard to tell whether or not you are in a queue or your game is simply frozen.
Below are some of the most popular fixes that are currently working for people.
Fix 1 – Run In Administrator Mode
If your game has frozen, the first thing to try is running the game in Administrator mode. To do this first close out of the frozen Fifa 23 and follow the steps below.
- Click on the Windows button on your PC and search for Fifa 23
- Right-click on Fifa 23 and select Run As Administrator
When the game boots up this should now bypass any problems with the anti-cheat and get you right into the game
Fix 2 – Wait It Out
This one probably isn’t what you expected to see but many people are simply getting into the game by waiting for an extended period of time. Some people are reporting that it is taking anywhere from 3 – 7 minutes to get into the game.
You will be stuck on the loading screen and have no indication of how long it will take to get in. This is where we expect there to be server issues due to high demand on release day.
If you have waited any longer than 15 minutes we recommend trying Fix 3.
Fix 3 – Turn It Off & On Again
Yep, the classic turn it off and on again. If you have waited any more than 15 minutes we would recommend completely rebooting your machine and loading up the game again. This could potentially resolve any previous issues you have been facing trying to log in to the game.
