How To Crop In Streamlabs [Easy Guide]

Do you want to crop your webcam, border or maybe even gameplay in Streamlabs or OBS? In this article we are going to show you the different methods you can use to crop any element in your scene.

How To Crop In Streamlabs

When it comes to cropping in Streamlabs there is two methods. It’s really up to personal preference which one you want to use.

Method 1 – Right Click

Click on the element in Streamlabs that you want to crop. Right Click –> Transform –> Edit Transform

Once you click edit transform the box below will pop up. You can see the crop section at the bottom.

Here you can input the number of pixels you want to crop on each side of element you are editing.

You can see if I crop 1300 pixels on the left hand side I completely remove myself from the scene. You can do this on any side of the element you are cropping.

Just crop your element to the size you like and you are good to go.

Method 2 – Ctrl – Alt Drag

This is likely an easier method to crop certain elements if you are unsure of exact dimensions. By using this you can drag to get the exact crop you need.

To do this click on the element you want to crop. Hold Ctrl and Alt at the same time then click and drag from the Top, Bottom, Left or right.

This allows you to drag to exactly where you need the element to be.

How To Crop In OBS Studio

Method 1 – Right Click

To crop in OBS Studio it is essentially the same process as Streamlabs. Just right click on the element that you want to crop and go to Transform –> Edit transform.

This will pull up this box. At the bottom you can see the option to crop Left, Right, Top and Bottom. Just enter the number of pixels you want to crop on any side and this will crop your element.

Method 2 – Ctrl-Alt Drag

To crop without accessing the menus you hold down CTRL and ALT at the same time letting you drag in from the Left, Right, Top or Bottom. Just hold CTRL and click drag with your mouse to crop the element to your liking.
