When it comes to playing Warzone and winning as many games as possible, you want to have every edge you possibly can on the competition.

If you are playing with sub-optimal settings, you likely have lower visibility than some of your competition. If you want to see enemies better your need to be using the best settings in Warzone. Let’s jump in and take a look at how you can improve visibility in Warzone.

How To Improve Visibility In Warzone

There are a number of ways to improve visibility in Warzone. Below is a list of the methods we use to have the best possible visibility in the game.

Adjust Brightness

The biggest reason people have bad visibility in Warzone is due to their brightness levels. If these are set incorrectly it can be hard to see enemies in certain lighting.

When setting your brightness make sure to set it correctly. For me, I have mine set to 65 and have the barely visible square quite visible. This makes it easier to see enemies in multiplayer. Depending on your monitor and setup you will have to adjust this setting to suit you.

I recommend setting it to look similar to the below.

Colorblind Settings

You probably dismissed this setting if you are not colorblind however enabling it can make seeing enemies easier for everyone.

We recommend setting your Colorblind Type to Deuteranopia and Colorblind Target to Both however depending on your eyes you may find other combinations easier to see. Test out each option for yourself to see which works best for you.

Square Mini Map

Most people don’t know this but you can change your mini-map from the standard circle mini-map to a square one. This allows you to see slightly more of the map in the four corners meaning you can spot enemies that you otherwise wouldn’t.

Render Resolution

If you have a powerful graphics card you can increase your render resolution to improve the visibility of enemies at long range. Increasing this setting will load a large proportion of the map in front of you.

We recommend setting the Render resolution to 120 if you are playing in 1080P. This will increase render distance without a massive hit to FPS. If you play at a higher resolution, keep your Render Resolution at 100.

Increase Your Field Of View

Increasing your field of view lets you see a wider view. This means you will be able to spot people coming from your left or right much easier. The downside to increasing your FOV is that your enemies will be smaller on your screen making them harder to hit.

My personal FOV preference is 115 but this may be a little wide if you are used to playing on a lower FOV. Test out a few different FOVs and see what fits you best.

It is also important to note that increasing Field Of View will lower your FPS.

Nvidia Setting Adjustment

If you have an Nvidia Graphics card you can add Nvidia Game filters which make the game much more colorful. While this can lower your frame rate slightly, it does make enemies drastically easier to see.

To add these filters, you will need to install the GeForce Experience application on your computer. To add filters follow the steps below:

  1. While Warzone is open hit ALT +Z to open the Geforce Experience in-game overlay
  2. Click on Game Filter on the left side
  1. You can create different styles which you can switch between. Select one of the numbers to start creating a new filter.
