What are the available Discord Versions?

Method 1 – For Desktops
There is an Alpha and Beta client available for Windows. Linux, and Mac devices. Follow these steps to download either the Beta build.
How to Download Discord Beta for Windows
- Head on to the Discord download page to download the Beta build.
- Scroll to the bottom and you will see the Feeling Experimental label. Click on Download Public Test Build.
- Choose your Operating System under the Download Public Test Build. The installer is available for Windows, Linux, and Mac.

Method 2 – Discord Beta and Alpha Build for Web Brower
There is an available Discord Beta or Alpha build accessible through your browser.
- Step 1 – Open the Discord Beta or Alpha build websites through these links. This is the only step that differs between the Beta and Alpa build. Steps 2 onwards are the same.
- Step 2 – Click on Open Discord in your Browser.
- Step 3 – You will be asked to enter a Username and a captcha will appear.
- Step 4 – Click on the arrow and you will be asked to verify your birth date. Click Next.
- You will be asked to Create a Server or Join an Existing server because the Canary and Beta build serves as a different account from your main Discord. Choose between the two and you are good to go.
Method 3 – Discord Beta for Apple iOS Devices
Follow these steps if you are using an Apple iOS device.
- Open the Apple AppStore and download the TestFlight app.
- Join Discord Beta by clicking on this link – https://dis.gd/testflight. You will be asked to sign up to install Discord.
- The instructions for iOS devices are found in the link above. Follow the instructions that match your device. It is currently available for iPadOS, macOS, tvOS, watchOS, and iOS.
- Congrats! You now have Discord Beta on your Apple device.

Method 4 – Discord Beta for Android Devices
Be a Discord Beta user on your Android Device by following these instructions.
- Open Google PlayStore and Click on your Profile on the upper right.

- Scroll down and click on Join under the Join the Beta section.
- The app will automatically add you to the Discord Beta program and you are done.
If you want to join the Discord Alpha for Android, follow these steps.
- Log in to your Google Account and follow this link – Android Alpha Link.
- Click on Join Group then click on Join Group again once you verify your Display Name.
- Once you are inside the Google Group, click on this link to join the testing group on Google Play.
- Click on Become a Tester.
- You will receive a message that you are now part of the Discord Testing Program.
What To Do After Joining The Discord Beta Program
If you managed to get into the Discord Beta Program, your goal now is to provide feedback or report bugs that you encountered while using the app.
Bugs are unintended behaviors that make for a bad user experience. Crashes, improper links, and buttons not working are a few examples of bugs that make the whole Discord experience horrible.
