Are you a monster on the Keyboard but struggle to play on the controller? If for some reason you have transitioned from a gaming PC to a console and still want to use a keyboard and mouse, you may be wondering if it will work with Apex Legends.

A lot of the best Apex players in the world use Keyboard and Mouse as it gives them much more precision when hitting their shots. Let’s take a look and see if you can use a keyboard and mouse on console versions of Apex Legends.

Does Apex Legends Support Keyboard & Mouse On Console?

Unfortunately, keyboard and mouse do not work on the console version of Apex legends. Players can play with Keyboard and mouse in selected games on PS5 and Xbox Series X but unfortunately, Apex is not one of them.

For the best experience on console we recommend using the controller or getting yourself onto a gaming PC when you get the chance.

Third-Party Adapters

If you are willing to pay some money you can purchase a third-party adapter which allows you to connect your Mouse & Keyboard to your console. This maps your controller buttons to keyboard and mouse keys.

Will Keyboard & Mouse Ever Become Available On Console?

Unfortunately, there is no way to know if it will ever be released as a feature on console. Apex Legends has been out for a few years now and there has been no official word on this feature being added so it is unlikely that we will see it added any time in the future.

Wrapping Up

So there you have it, you will simply have to get good on the controller if you want to work your way up the ranks on the console version of Apex. If we hear any news about this feature becoming supported by Apex we will let you know.
